Rest Week

My dogs are recovery experts.  They spend all day and all night, when not out for a walk or eating, sleeping.

5 years ago, Max wouldn’t get on a dog bed even if you bribed him.  Now he’s doubling up on them? LOL!

Pigpen still prefers sleeping in the mud though.

He’s all worn out from the morning adventure wherein his owner made him work for his breakfast.

I think, in general, we could all learn a lot from dogs. :)

My dog sleeps for hours after running with me. It makes me feel better about her having lots more energy than me while running. I tell myself that if I slept as much as her I'd be able to run fast too.

Athena barely wants to eat anyways (she actually skipped breakfast and went back to sleep this morning) so working for food wouldn't work for the princess.
Piggy Nico, on the other hand... maybe that would be a good tactic for her. For now, she can just keep poking my nose to wake me up for feeding time in the morning lol.
