I’m wrapping up rest week and ready to kick off another big one. It’s funny that I feel more tired at the end of rest week than the beginning, but I think that’s actually my legs begging for some hard work. I’ll get home tomorrow and get right back on the big volume Tuesday! Spending the weekend talking to Danni about our upcoming Ironman races (she’s got Florida in 6 weeks, I’ve got Arizona in 8 weeks) made me really excited to get there!
Training totals for week 40 (September 21-27):
Swim: ~4870 yards
Bike: 55.5 miles
Run: 8 miles
Total time: 7 hours
Plus 2 hours of yoga

I actually think your body is begging for nude racing gear. You would feel so much better and more energetic if you knew everyone thought your were running in the nude!
Honestly, though, eight weeks seems so soon!
nice week ... I can't beleive the last three IMs of the year - Fla, Arizona, Cozumel - are all coming up so soon !
Did you add in all the hours of exercise you got yesterday at the race? LOL Surely that would have added to your totals.

I always seem to feel more tired after a rest week too. That first day back... tough stuff!
I can only imagine how excited you are about IMAZ after watching all of us nuts this weekend. I'm totally stoked for you and Danni! Like I told you after the race, now that I know how badly a HALF IM hurts, I am just in SUPER awe of anyone who takes on the serious challene of the 140.6! Major props to you, Molly! Woo-hoo! :o)
